Time span of DAAD scholarship 2021:
The time period of this scholarship in Europe is
twelve to thirty six months (depending on the study program).
Scholarship Benefits:
The DAAD Scholarships 2021 is an absolutely fullyfunded scholarship. It will bear all the expenses of selected candidates.
Following things are provided by DAAD scholarship.
- Monthly Stipend
- 850 euros for a Master’s candidates
- 1,200 euros for PHD candidates

Eligibility Criteria for DAAD scholarship
2021 Germany:
- Candidate must be working for a state, private company or a public authority in an economically developed country.
- Candidate should be involved in carrying out the plan and executing the projects, in economical, technological and social development is the major concern.
- Candidate must have a four years Bachelor’s degree in the related subject.
- Candidate has passed the academic degree with higher than average results (upper third).
- Candidate must have 2 years of professional experience in the related field, after the completion of his or her bachelor degree at the time of application.

- The academic degrees of candidates must not be generally more than 6 years old.
- The candidates who are living in Germany for more than fifteen months from the application deadline will not be considered eligible for DAAD scholarship.

Language Requirement:
German Language Courses:
Scholarship includes a preparatory 6-month German
language course in Germany. Successful passing of the language examination DSH
2 or TestDaF 4 before the start of the study course. A minimum German language
level of B1 at the time of application is a required, passing proof is given by
providing the current certificate.
Note:
It is literally not possible to pass out the needed German language course
(TestDaF or DSH) without the basic knowledge in the German language (at minimum
B1 Level), even with the preceding 6-month extensive course in Germany. Passing
the German language test is formally needed for the matriculation at the
relevant German university.
English language courses:
IELTS Band 6 certificate is required or TOEFL (with
minimum score: 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based, 80 internet-based)
Required Documents:
- Signed DAAD application form with the current date mentioned on it.(Download Form )
- Personally signed Curriculum vita (with Europass format) up to the current date.(Make your CV)
- Personally signed Letter of Motivation (mentioning the current occupation and choice of postgraduate program (s),maximum of two pages) with the current date.
- Candidates are expected to submit letter of recommendation from the current employer; the submitted letter must have a letterhead, official stamp and a signature, must be of recent date (should not be submitted in a sealed envelope)
- Certificates of Employment from the employers that can provide evidence of experience of minimum 2 years of working in the relevant field( just after the bachelor’s degree) at the time of application and if feasible, employer should also mention the guarantee of re-employment upon returning back to home.
- Proof of Language Skills:
- English –TOEFL or IELTS (The institutional TOEFL will not be accepted).
- German –needed for programs which are supposed to be taught in German language.
- Duplicate copies of all the Educational Degrees (attested translation if required).
- Copies of Educational Transcripts, with grading-scale (attested translation if required).
- Candidates who are natives of Republic of China are expected to submit a Certificate of APS with the application documents.

How to apply for DAAD scholarship 2020-21?
Follow the below mentioned steps, if you want to apply
in Daad Scholarship:
- First choose the required university.
- Check the requirement of the university.
- Send your application direct to the selected university.
- A selection council or panel of university will suggest the capable candidates for the DAAD scholarship 2021.
- The suggested applicants will be approached by DAAD. And these candidates will be asked to sync their complete application to the online portal of DAAD.
- The process of selection will be completed, and the suggested applicants will be contacted accordingly.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
- The appropriate applications written in German or English will be considered only.
- Incomplete application forms will not be considered.
- If you want to apply for more than 1 program, you have to list in sequence about the courses of your priority in the DAAD application forms. Also mention the same sequence in the respective application and don’t try to change the order.
- If you are applying for more than 1 postgraduate program (maximum three courses), you are considered to submit one letter of motivation describing the cause that why you are applying for these particular programs and why you have chosen this priority.
- Kindly check the requirements of the related Universities that certified copies are needed or not.
